Marilyn Monroe animation

I’m a big fan of Marilyn Monroe and to pay a little homage to her I made this hand drawn animation based of the photos from her last sitting with photographer Bert Stern in 1962 just shortly before she died at the age of 36.

The gif animation was done in Procreate using iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and is based on 8 frames from the contact sheet (You can see them all here below). I used an app called iMotion for the animation as I did it on my phone but you could also use other similar apps or Adobe Photoshop.
